New computers often come with less memory than their capacity. Older computers often are sluggish because they do not have enough system memory. An easy upgrade to improve your computer's performance is to install more memory if it isn't already at capacity. If you want to know how much memory your computer currently has on Windows XP, right-click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop, then choose "Properties" from the menu that is displayed. Somewhere on the "General" tab for System Properties there should be a line that give GHz and MB or GB of RAM. This tells you the speed and amount of memory installed on your computer. An easier way to find out how much memory you have and whether your memory can be upgraded is to call us. We can determine the memory capacity for your computer from the make and model number. We can walk you through the above process to find how much memory is currently installed or we can do an online support session and tell you if your memory can be upgraded. If it can, we will install the memory for you and make sure everything is working properly. |
